Brief Description:  Wiring conduit / pitot tubing

Had a look at the pitot tubing and wiring conduit today. I worked from the outboard end to the inboard end with the wiring conduit, pulling it all through one rib at a time. It was pretty easy up until those four wing walk ribs, and then it got a little trickier. I'll need to mix up some proseal at some point and just dab each rib/tube interface to guard against vibration. Also need to run some strings. The third picture below shows where the aileron bellcrank will go, connected of course to the aileron pushrods. Hmm, I wonder whether the pitot tube will be in the way? The manual suggests closing the wing up completely and then the bellcrank and pushtubes get fitted when the ailerons get fitted. If I have a problem with the pitot tube run at that stage it will be a bear to sort out in the confined area through the access panel. I might trial fit the bellcrank before I put the bottom skin on and check everything out. I'm not feeling too flash today though, so it'll probably get done some other time. Kinda neat to see things coming together like this though; quite the motivational booster!! :-)
