Wow! We just put in five and a half 'man-hours' between 5:45pm and 9:30pm. BUT, *all* the aileron stiffeners are done and ready for priming, as is the aileron skin. Kudos to Jackie; she pretty much did all the deburring and dimpling of the stiffeners - one boring job! The aileron hinge brackets are also ready to be primed. Doesn't sound a lot, but there was a lot of edge-finishing and dimpling in there. We're really hoping for good weather tomorrow morning so I can get out there and prime the bottom wing skins, aileron hinge brackets, aileron skin and aileron skin stiffeners. Hopefully, I'll be able to get all those done by lunchtime and then Derrick should be coming over after lunch to help rivet the top outboard wing skin. With that done, it gives me the week nights to fit the aileron brackets, aileron & flap brace/gap seal, wing wiring conduit and pitot tubing. Hoping to see some good progress this next week.
