Brief Description:  rib construction

1 fwd rib blank just out of fly cutter Boy, was that ever a process. Sort of dangerous if it gets away fron you. I was very lucky...did not damage myself or any "expensive" parts or tools. For those who dont know this type of tool, it is alco called a circle cutter. Mine has only one blade, others have two blades and should be better ballanced in the drill press. the whole take away from this is to go VERY slow, and then as it gets almost thru the aluminum, RELAX the pressure as it goes thru. Watch for flying circle debries! Hang on with good gloves. Dont have anyone around becfause if it gets away, you dont know where its going!! I wore my big leather welding vest just to be safe.

2 The beginning of many days of bending flanges It seamed it took forever to get just 25 ribs done both front and rear parts. ( one extra just incase I screw one up upon assembly. I will make a wall hanging for the office when i dont need them anymore!!)

3 One down and out, ready for final touch up with the file, sand paper and cloth. the process was good, and the other 24 appeared the same way If I had to do it again, I might consi9der a slightly smalled flute hole. These are 7/8 inch and a bit deep, but I got things together quickly and wqas able to work them straight without much trouble. My buddys looked on for a while, and thought it was majic. Maybe so, maybe not.
