Brief Description:  the tank

1--This is a peice of trash I found in the tank...from manufacturing no doubt. It was very much like the stuff I was able to peel off the inside of the alumionum inserts. Of course they all dropped down inside. Dont you know this little thingie would cause one a bit of trouble later on!

2 I sloshed the inside3 many times with a bit of moineral spirts, and filtered the drainage into a towel. I inspected under a strong lamp to see the translucent bits, and there were plenty. I think I sloshed maybe 7 or 8 times until I was very sure there was nothing more inside.

3 while this picture looks like the camers was rotated, its the plane that is rotated. I seem to do all my work with it on its side on the parge bench. I hate climbing and trying to work inside of something just as much as I hate trying to squat and work fron below. Must be my old age showing up!! anyway, the tank is in, connectors paisted up with teflon paiste, gently turned in. actual leak testing will be done at a later dae as I really didnt want to puff it too much with compressed air.
