Well, I am reluctant to verbalize here, as it were, that I am stopped for a good while in my build due to finances...for the AeroVee engine. I have had several needs here at the house that I have had to take care of, and one still to do after the first of the year, with a broken septic tank cover that may or may not need replacement. So these few previous updates probably be the last for a bit.
I have not given up and wont do that, but I may have to take a bit longer than I originally planned to complete 'Sir P.D." He is covered awaiting the spring weather so I can fit the wings after a new hanger is finished at Finney Field near Howe Tx , probably before Christmas. I am not really wanting to fit the wings in real cold WX, nor in real hot WX either, just to keept the aluminum expansion in check durring wing setup. I plan to at least transport the wings to the hanger to get them out of the shop to prevent damage, and plan to get the rest there later.
Now I have to find other projects to do. Please dont tell the wife that I might be looking!!! She has that list with her at all times!
