1) I am putting my good friends picture here just to remind me that he is my inspiration for naming my bird . PD was a delightful friend and always acompanied me to the shop whenever I was working. He supervised dont you know! He would come and tell me that I should take a break about once an hour, and since he has gone now for almost 3 years, I still miss his doing that.
The picture dosent do him justice as it appears forshortened and widened a bit. I dont think he was feeling quite correct when I snaped this one. He usually had a bit of a smirk to his face, and sometimes I cought him in an attempted wink.
PD was cought by an owl late one night and appairently dropped from some height. I found him the next morning. It borke my heart as I burried him outside my shop where he can continue to be where he visited so much.
This picture I plan to have mounted in the airplane just above and to the right of my shoulder as I fly.He will be my assistant co-pilot, as God already has that job.another simular picture will be on the cowl cheeks looking forward and upward in his pose.
