Well, not going as planned, mostly. thursday came and went and I still have not finished up tail wheel endorsement. However, after seeing..feeling..operating a light sport aircraft up to and thru landing (several good ones by the way), and having taxied Sirpeedee a couple of times with the tail raised, I am getting more confident that I can actually land the Sonex without harm. I am to get some flight time with a good frield in his trubo sonex/Waiex tricycle gear this Friday 7-14 to get the visual impressions on landing, which is what I feel I mostly need. Along with the speed profiles involved.
So, after Friday, I plan to gather my support team and hike up my important parts and go for it...maybe!! Weather here in N Texas has been very hot and humid, and/ or stormey so much so to mostly negate even wanting to bring Sirpeedee out. I shall see, and all here will be some of the first to know the outcome!!
