Brief Description:

1) This shot is intended to visualize the overall effect the 6 in wheel has vs the 4 inch original. I feel it dosent look out of place.

2)The ground clearence has increased be several inches as one might expect. I am happy with this. Not too high, but surely elevated from what it was. maybe no more grass cought on the bolt head either.

3) Very closeup showing the final result. It fit just as intended, is alligned with the rudder as intended, and turns stop to stop without interference. Almost a perfect job wouldnt one say?

Now a short ending note on the origins of the wheel itself. A friend located at T31 in Mckinney, Tx viewed my aircraft several months ago and offered a free tail wheel from his RANS Cyote(??) since he had upgraded to tundra MLG and tail wheel (larger sizes both). So, my new found wheel is from a RANS aircraft, is 6 inches diameter, and a sturdy 2.5 in wide. It has REAL ball bearings to boot so should run quietly. Thanks much Tom Hiltz!!
