1) I didnt want to leave the left hand side out of the record, so here it is.
2) the aforementioned prop to cowl clearance. Well, when I cut the cowl off, and rebuilt it flat and co-planar with the crank flange, I found the gap was more that speced, maybe about 1/4 to 3/8 inch too big. Some of my 'fellow flyers' in the hanger have suggested using astro turf to sill it ion, but I dont want Sirpeedee funning around with grass on its nose. One might get the wrong idea bout the landings, dontchaknow! I declined the offered suggestion. I will probably add a thin layer of FG and recontour the cowl to make the gap less. That may come on a reiny weekend in the future as I dont really feel this is a no-go situation
