Brief Description:  test results

1) This is the actual test in progress and if one looks closely the ASI shows Really close to 100 mph, and the manometer shows the same...very close to 100. measured

2) A better look at the ASI, paralax not withstanding...99+ MPH. not bad at all. I did not think...until now!...to take pix of the 40, 120, and 180 mph tests, but they were just as accurate and the 100 mph test, with excellent linearity. It will be my butt in the seat so I am not fudging here, believe me!

3) A relatively closer view of the manometer, with the scale set to the bottom of the right tube, and the left side fluid lever is exactly opposite the scale marker for 100 mph. ( I know its hard to see and if I could figure how to blow it up I would have).

Overall I am pleasantly surprised that this has given me these results. Of course, actual flight test will confirm them durring the 40 hr test peroid. I and more than satisfied that it is plenty accurate for the first couple of flights. That is important because as most of you should know, one has to be aware of when the aircraft first begins to fly, as that is the speed one uses to calculate the approach to landing speed.

One more milestone passed. Tech coulselor visit is being scheduled as I type. I hope he will be pleases too.

Next thing is to get rid of those blue tape id'S on the insturment pannel!!

Thanks for following me here!
