I did need to get special fittings to allow the oil lines to stay aft enough to clear cowl and not kink. I also put fire sleeve on those steel braided lines to save the cowl if they indeed rubed some. time will tell me if I made it correctly.
2) I found this very nice industrial oil seperator at a military surplus store in Okarche, OKLA and re made the innards to operate as an sir oil seperator for the AeroVee. The three disce shown have 'blades' jin oppisite directions, and are clocked at different positions when assembled inside, and are intended to aloow the air/oil,mixture to swurel(/)..spin around.. and throw the oil to the outside on the interior, collecting at the small outlet while the air exits out to the belly breather pipe. since I have taken this p9ctures, I have modified it al bit by putting in a small stand pipe in the lowest"chamber" of the three formed be the three discs, which should allow th oil to exit properly without being forced out be the exhausted air (large pipe). I also fould that these air oil seperatore wont work is not in a hot enough aera of the engine compartment to allow moisture to remail as mist going overboard as exhaust air. Otherwise it will puddle in the bottom as oily watter mess, to be returned to the engine. This isnt wanted alt all. I will monitor this carefuylly.
