Brief Description:  short studs

1,2,3) This may be something for others to watch for. These studs are too short to have the thick washer in place and the nut tightened because the stud will not protrude out of the nutlocking material enough to actually lock the nut on the stud. In other words, the nut will eventually fall off. Not a great thing to happen.

So what I did was to use the thinnest washer I could find..ian AN type washer. I also used a thread locking product to make sure.

The middle pix shows a very short stud. I gave up the washer, and used a low height nut. the torque value used here is only 10 FT/Lbs, so I am not worried. But the threads do show enough thru to retain the nut porperly . f I had known this prior to fully assembling the case I would have tried to back these studs out a thread or two.
