1) Well, I guess I did take pix of the root ribs. This is the FWD rib, with small mod to allow easier connectivity to the flap handle-flap actuator rod bolt insertion. I dont have a double jointed anything so I did the mod! I also installed the root closure strip, and hope I havnt jumped the gunm in doing so. Some have said to leave it off until wing rigging, others had no say. so, I will inform all when I get the rigging done. I do know I will have to trim the strip some to get the required dimentional standoff to the fuse.
2) there are now two perfectly good and usable wings present in my shop! At least I can see no non airworthy defects! But, hey, I may be too close to them. I will get Mel and Ann Asbury to come over and look at them in a few weeks, after I get back from Frontier Days in Colorado.
