1---The elt antenna is just forward of the vertical fin. This shows the coax cable attachment and direction for routing
2--This shows how I ran the coax from a different viewOn the far right is the antenna and to the left is the ELT bench and the ELT. the benck is made robust enough to withstand unforseen problems, allowing the actual ELT to survive and keep transmitting. As some know, it has a 'G" activated switch which sets it off. G-switched are intended to activate durring specific conditions of rapid de-acceleration. Need I say moire..!
3---The aforementioned ELT in its new home. I did set it in the middle of the shelf because as time goes forward, I may need/want to upgrade ELTs and which ever one I select at that time may need more room? I sort of like the little orange ones.
