Image one and image two these two are to show how tight I have tried to fit the pieces together. I am of the opinion and have been told that tight tfitment is better than loose as iut makes for a stronger weld. So, I tried!!
Image three an extra clamp and again the pipe thru the foot end of the pedals...prior to welding....no chared wood!
