Brief Description:  steel flight control components

Image one shows the first weld made on the 4130 steel, and is the pivot for the roll motion of the stick, into which bronze bushings get installed durring final assembly

Image two, shows some old fart (me) holding up another finished part, namely the assembly(?) onto which the actual stick is bolted after it is installed on the main frame of the dual stick control "triangle", which isnt really a triangel in the dual stick mod!

Last picture is the beginning tack weldment for that very item, the control"triangle" that isnt a triangle(1) It took me about two days to get the board layed out so as to have things held properly for initial welding. it worked pretty well, but after cutting the steel to precise size as I went along, I found that I had to move things slightly to actually have the final product come out as intended. In other words, I didnt do such a good job durring Christmas hollidays setting the thing up without the actual steel in hand. But it worked out fine and I was pleased.
