It took a couple prototypes to come up with a bottom wing root fairing that met the goals of sealing the windows; basically, I ended up with a 70 deg bent flange which will enable rubber channel to seal the upper window. Because the wing is concave and the bend forces the inner edge to be straight, there is a modest amount of scalloping, which should respond to a mild amount of shrinking. I am again reminded that I wish I'd ponied up the money for a full 48 inch shear rather than the 40 inch one that I have. This particular piece is 45 inches long so it requires some effort tp get straight shear edges, and I wasted a few pieces in the process.
