Brief Description:  Priming 2

Since the temperature and humidity are, well, temperate this time of year, I went ahead and did some priming and finish coating. First, I cleaned, alodined, and primed with Polyfiber white epoxy primer and then finish coated with silver Aerothane the outer plenum and baffles, as well as the diffusers. Next, I cleaned, alodined, and primed the interior of the engine cowl and air box housing with Polyfiber green epoxy. Finally, I cleaned, primed with Polyfiber white epoxy, and then finish coated with Avipro epoxy grey the inside of the boot cowl, bottom and side kick panels. I used a Hobby closed air respirator system and a Devilbiss Finishline 3 HLVP gun. I didn't do the outside of the engine or boot cowl, as I am going to have the plane professionally painted and I don't want to pay for someone to strip primer. I didn't take many pictures, as it's pretty boring prepping and painting.
