Brief Description: Wing Root and Tail Fairing Prime & Paint
I removed the plastic coating, wiped the markings off with MEK, polished the edges with a Scotchbrite wheel, and scrubbed the wing root and tail fairings with alkaline cleaner and a Scotchbrite pad. After rinsing, I alodined the parts, and primed them with Poly Fiber EP-420 white epoxy primer, one side at a time. For the parts that will be seen from the cabin, I applied a single coat of Avipro gray epoxy. I think this will be the last time I have to prime parts, so that's a good thing.
Parts ready to touch waiting to cure before applying weatherstrip.
