I installed the EGT and CHT probes for the Advanced Flight Systems harness, using Anti-Seize compound. I chose 2 inches as the distance from the exhaust flange. AFS recommends 2 -10 inches, Vetterman recommends 1 - 2 inches. I chose 2 inches as it fit both requirements, and after two inches, the curvature of the tubes made EGT probe placement kind of gnarly.
