Brief Description:  Avionics Master Switch

I am enough of a relic to want an Avionics Master switch, and in addition, I want the ability to get basic COM function directly from a switch, so as to get clearances and ATIS without firing up the Master Switch. Doing this wiring required a B&C diode so the COM only function gets power directly from the battery when the COM only switch is activiated, but when the COM only switch is turned off, the COM and other items, such as the intercom, get the power turned on and off from the Avionics Master Switch.. There are only three circuit breakers in my aircraft, one for the Avionics Master ( an avionics fault could blow a fuse, requiring in-flight replacing, not generally recommended in current cockpit resource management), an Alternator Field CB (allows inflight resetting), and the APU power switch. The fuses in general are not meant for in-flight replacing.
