It took a couple tries to get this right. I removed 4 aft spar rivets, and reamed them out to 3/16 inch. The two straps were first drilled in the bottom hole, bolted in place and then match drilled to the spar at the top hole. Next, the plate which sits on top of the straps had its rivet holes predrilled, and was then match drilled into the straps below, protecting the spar with a small piece of 4130 steel. Lightening holes were drilled,and nutplates added for the AN3 bolts which attach the fuel pump. I used a Molex connector for the aux pump power, and grounded the pump to the bracket. Prior to riveting, the pieces were Scotch-Brited, alodined and primed.
