Brief Description: Fuel Tank Mounting and Nipples 2
I marked where the fuel tank nipples would go when the tanks were mounted and used a knockout punch to create the appropriately located holes. The main fuel tank vent nipple cutout encroaches on the lightening hole, and required a doubler, which was riveted in place after alodining and priming with Zinc Chromate. The aft main fuel tank outlet uses a bulkhead 90 deg elbow, and that hole was drilled as well. The aux tank requires a reroute of a stiffener and a doubler, as well. I'll detail that in a subsequent log.
Inboard rib details.
