Brief Description:  Headset Power Supply Conversion

I installed a 3 volt power supply in the Bearhawk in order to provide power for Lightspeed headsets. The Zulu headset uses two AA batteries in series to provide its power. I used an end mill to put a groove in a 1/2 inch nylon rod measuring 3.78 inches in length, and used a pair of #4 sheet metal screws and AMP red 18-22 terminals to make an adapater, which will provide power to the Zulu battery box. 5 minute epoxy was used to secure the wires in the groove so they won't come adrift. I needed to cut a small groove in the cover of the battery box, so that the power cable could come out. I made a pair of adapters, so that if and when I can buy another $800 headset, I'll already have the adapter made.
