I riveted the upper panel bows and the RadioRax mounts, cleansed with alkaline detergent and alodined the panel. I decided to paint the panel (and control pedestal and hinge) with Poly-Fiber Aerothane Polar Grey, which is somewhat darker than the Avipro grey. I added flattener in order to make it semi-gloss, as well. I broke out the paint booth in order to minimize paint imperfections. I primed the panel with white Poly-FIber epoxy before the final Aerothane coating, which was only put on the visible side. I plan on using DecalPro labels, which will have to wait until the paint cures, which takes a week or so. I also have to decide whether I want to wet sand the paint to smooth it out anymore.
