In preparation to mounting the strut, I wanted to make sure the strut fittings fit. Unfortunatley, on the right side, the lug was to wide, so that had to be filed down. In addition, on both sides, the AN-7 bolt wouldn't pass from above. I think that's important, as the struts are the single-most important thing keeping the wings from flapping up, and a loose nut could ruin your day. Accordingly, I used a Dremel tool to relieve he welds just enough to get the bolt to pass from top to bottom.
