I fabricated the two side panels from .025 2024-T3; a longitudinal flange was bent on each upper piece for stiffening. I started work on the upper boot cowl, but more work is needed. The bow or upper curve turns out to very important to defining the dimensions of the cutouts, and posterboard doesn't take up the proper curve, so the first try ends up being the template for hopefully the final version. I plan on using fiberglass for the access panel portion.
