Alcad .032 inch 2024 was used to make the floorboards; I bought the drawings from Mark Goldberg, but found them to be useful as guides, but not directly as a template. I added stiffeners to the forward panel, as I felt it was a little too bendy. All of the other panels are split and have longitudinal flanges to aid in stiffening. Both sides were primed with Avipro style Strontium Chromate. I painted the top with a marine no-skid deck paint; originally, I'd planned on using Herculiner, but I had the bright idea of doing a burn test, which was very illuminating!
