Brief Description: Aft Baggage Compartment Bulkhead and Cargo Tube
I constructed the aft baggage compartment bulkhead out of .025 2024-T3; the access panel is .032 and uses camlocs without a hinge, as I didn't want to be working back there and have the panel resting on my head. I'd previously made a fiberglass tube for storing fishing poles, and I epoxied a mounting flange to match the bulkhead surface, epoxied the other end closed and fabricated a door secured with winged camlocs to button it up. After that, I alodined it and will prime and paint it the next time I have a batch of parts to do.
