Brief Description: Floorboards Install
|
|
I installed the floorboards, aft bulkhead, side panels, rudder cable protectors and stainless door sills. It takes about 50 8-32 screws, mostly 3/8 inch in length, and a few 10-32 screws. The order of installation is important; the left panel aft of the front seat cross tube goes first followed by the opposite side, then the left aft floorboard followed by the right aft floorboard goes next. After that, the front panel immediately aft of the rudder pedals goes in, followed by the left panel just in front of the front seat cross tube, followed by the opposite panel. Finally, two small subpanels go in front of the cross tube followed by two panels aft.
