Brief Description: Aux Fuel Line Support Bracket 1
In order to be in accordance with AC 43.13-1B 8-31 (f) and 16 inch spacing between supports for 3/8 inch fuel line, it is necessary to place a clamp between the aux tank and fuel pump. It's probably a good idea anyway, as it dampens the vibration from the pump which might impact the fuel nipple. Unfortunately, there's no handy access panel in the middle, and if the pump or tank has to be removed, access to that clamp will be important. Putting the clamp on the rib results in a longer fuel line and a long reach from the current access panels. Accordingly, I decided to make a removeable support bracket that can be largely assembled outside of the airplane and then finalized from the aft aileron access panel. It took a few tries to get it correct; I made the opposite wing bracket as far as I could without being able to drill into the wing, so the opposite bracket would be ready to go.
