I mounted a Falcon heated pitot tube midway along the right aileron adjacent to the aileron front pulley access panel. I used a Graetz mount, which is meant to be mounted immediately aft of the front spar, but the supplied doubler wasn't long enough, so I made another longer one out of .063 2024-T3. I placed a flush mount 8-32 screw on the doubler which will serve as a ground for the pitot tube. Of course, some MEK-wiping, Scotch-Brighting with alkaline cleaner, alodining and Zinc-chromate priming was done along the way. The pitot tube doesn't come with mounting screws, but 6-32 x 3/16 stainless steel truss head screws suffice.
