Brief Description: Cowl Flap Linkage and Cable Assembly
I provisionally installed the cowl flap cable and reinstalled the cowl flap linkage, which had been disassembled for painting. Despite my best efforts to predict the proper amount of lever arm in order to open the cowl flaps appropriately and keep the right amount of cable translation, I ended up with less cable translation than I'd like, which possibly will translate into increased effort to open the cowl flap. I may have to redrill the firewall bellcrank in order to shorten the actuator arm and thus decrease the effort.
