I used medium Poly-Fiber fabric, and laid out the left and right fabric on the fin, and traced the fabric over the left top stringer. It is a little tricky getting the fabric laid out correctly because of the empennage and fuselage handle protrusions. After marking the fabric, my wife graciously helped me pin the seam together and sewed it, using the approved Poly-Fiber thread. It took 1 hour and 20 minutes to pin the fabric and sew the envelope. I then put the envelope on the fuselage, and glued the fin curve as the first step in gluing the top and sides into place.
