Brief Description:  Instrument Panel and Overhead Console

After I put the paint booth up for the empennage Poly-Brush and Poly-Spray, I put a coat of clear Aerothane with flattener on the already painted and labelled instrument panel, in order to protect the labels. Apparently, the flattener was old, as it didn't totally go into solution, resulting in a flat and slightly textured clear coat. Not the desired result, but acceptable considering how many hours it would take to strip, repaint, re-label and re-clear coat the panel. I put Revell inkjet water transfer labels on the overhead consoles, and painted them with clear Aerothane without the flattener, since glare from them shouldn't be a problem. I installed the switches and provisionally placed the avionics, so that next the pitot-static system can be plumbed.
