I had intended to use DecalPro to label the panel, but ran across the Stein Air booth at OSH 2008, and they offered to make water transfer decals for $20 a sheet, given a dxf CAD file. Given how tedious the DecalPro system is, plus the ability to make many adjustments to positioning prior to final acceptance using water decals, I went ahead and tried them out. Oddly enough, the decals are printed on white paper, which necessitated the use of a black light to see them for cutting them off the sheet. The main downside is that I have to protect the labels with a couple coats of clear Aerothane, which I'll do the next time I have the paint booth up.
