Brief Description:  Fuel Lines 2

I fabricated the rear fuel lines and the left front as well as the connection to the Andair Fuel Selector on the left. I decided to deviate from stock and make the junction between front and rear underneath the seat. I didn't like the fuel line being vulnerable to kicking as people go in and out of the airplane, as it penetrates the floorboard. The down side is I will need an additional rudder fairlead so the rudder cable can't get to the fuel line. Mostly the lines are 5052-0, although for some of the simple lines I used 6061, mainly 'cause I ran out of the softer alloy. I did come up with a way to make complex lines more simply: Make a dummy line up in shorter segments of one or two curves, and join them with a short piece of wood dowel inserted in the tube. You can adjust rotation and length once you have the angle right, and secure the proper orientation with glue of some sort (I used a heat stick gun). Then take the dummy line back to the bench and duplicate in one solid piece. I was really going through aluminum tubing before I started using that method.
