On the boot cowl panels, 8-32 countersunk nutplates were riveted in place, and the firewall was deburred and dimpled, 10-32 clip nuts were placed. I fabricated a rolled edge for top of the exhaust tunnel. This is popular with F1 Harmon Rocket owners as a means of aiding cooling, as it smooths the airflow leaving the back of the engine. It was made by pounding 26 guage stainless steel sheet over 3/4 inch pipe with a rubber hammer.
