Brief Description: Gear Cutouts and Bottom Pan Stiffener
I fabricrated gear cutout panels as described in Beartracks, with some minor modifications to accomodate the aft gascolator panel. In addition, I placed a contoured longitudinal stiffener, as the bottom pan was prone to oil canning otherwise. Additional holes need to be drilled, but will be done after the panel is removed for alodining, nutplates, and priming. I slit the gear cutout so as to allow easy removal for strut maintenance when the aircraft is on the gear. The rubber sheet gasket will be placed after the gear is removed for covering.
