In an effort to improve the aesthetics of the trim mechanism and provide mounting for overhead lighting, I'm making a panel. I'm not planning on otherwise covering the interior, so this constitutes my only real effort at interior cosmetics. The side panels constructed follow the overhead curve and allow the panel to be removed from the intersecting fuselage tubing. Next, I'll make front and rear panels, with the rear panel having a cutout for the trim cable. I'll probably have to put brackets to connect the side panels to the overhead outer panel, in order to avoid a lot of panel vibration.
