I welded tabs to support a thin overhead panel which will cover up the trim mechanism and much of the antenna doubler, as well as support an overhead dome light and eyeball lights. I need to get all that hardware together before I cut and bend the panel. I'm going to use a combination red/white LED accent light from SeaSense ( about $30 including shipping), which weighs 2.5 ounces (see foto). I'll put another in the baggage compartment, as well. The eyeball lights sell for $15 from ACS, and I'll put a solid state dimmer up there as well.
