Brief Description:  Even More Stringer Work

More stringer work; they're cut to length, but have to have holes drilled in the standoffs and in the stringers themselves. I've come to the conclusion the best way to do this is to drill stringer and standoff using a 45 deg drill using a #40 drill bit and then remove the stringer, and drill out the standoff alone with a #30 drill. This allows screwing in a #6 x 1/2 or 5/8 in sheet metal screw without too much anguish. This particular standoff exceeded my ability to put a screw in it, so I welded a small .020 strip of 4130 to stop the stringer from being pushed in by the fabric.
