I fabricated an aft avionics shelf; according to Mark Goldberg, the tabs aft of the baggage compartment were meant to mount an aft battery. Mark said he didn't need to put the battery in the tailcone for weight and balance, however. Accordingly, I made this shelf for mounting the ELT, or other future avionics, if necessary. Should the battery need to go back here, I left enough room at the structurally more secure location, so one could be put here if necessary.
