Brief Description:  Air Oil Separator

I've been troubled with persistent oil streaking on the fuselage belly. I have not been able to find any large leaks on the engine. Previous builders have found it beneficial to use an air-oil separator, so I thought I'd try that. I decided to use an Aircraft Spruce P/N 08-00765 air-oil separator. I removed the engine breather tube (with it's whistle- stop) and installed the air-oil separator. I made an adapter for the 1" ID breather hose to the 3/4" ID air-oil separator hose from 6061 1-1/4" stock on the lathe. Unfortunately, after 3.4 hours of flying, the air-oil separator didn't collect anything. I assume that means either the installed air-oil separator doesn't work, or there's not muchto collect.
