Brief Description:  25 Hour Inspection

I reached 25 hours tach time (28.5 hours flight time), and removed the cowl and fixed some things over the past week or so. In addition, I tightened the alternator belt, which had loosened slightly. I put some UV dye in the oil and ran the engine up a couple times and checked with a UV light and found a few slight leaks. Most of the oil on the bottom of the airplane seem to be coming out of the crankcase breather. I added two washers to the Oil Pressure relief valve, as occasionally at idle with a hot engine, I would dip below 25 psi. After flying it, it seems one washer would probably be the right amount, as the oil pressure is 109 on cold starts (the upper limit is 115), but upper green after warming up, with no problems at idle. I'll change that out next time I have the cowl off. I changed the oil and filter, and cleaned the oil suction screen, which again had some RTV flakes in it. The filter was pretty clean - I only saw one tiny flake of RTV. I also cleaned the gascolator.
