Brief Description:  Flight 2

Second flight again calm winds, about 45 deg temp. Climbout nominal except cyl #4 wanted to run hot, went to 407 deg (recommended range 150 to 435 deg), then subsided to 325 deg. I cycled the prop three times instead of twice while at 1700 RPM for the mag check and although the RPM doesn't drop during the cycling, at least there's no surge when full power is applied. Stall Speed KIAS clean 52, one notch 50, two notches 48, three notches - not really a stall, stick full back with power off and it just sits there at 48. The flaps are reflexed slightly in level flight, so I need to tighten up the flap cable some. Fortunately, I had set the turnbuckles with three threads showing, which is as loose as it could be, so there should be enough adjustment remaining. Steep turns are fun, and the skylights are helpful for situational awareness in the turn. Finally, back for two full stop landings. 60 KIAS on short final with three notches and there were no swerves this time. Maybe more flying tomorrow.
