Brief Description:  Control Rigging

I set the control cable tensions and pinned the turnbuckles. To do that, I blocked the rudder and adjusted the tension to equal the rudder pedals. I put a 1/16 inch stirp fo neoprene on the fabric to protect against abrasion from the rudder turnbuckles. I set a target tension of 20 - 30 lbs per Bob Barrows on the aileron and elevator cables. Mark Goldberg said onthe Yahoo group that 60 lbs of tension was needed for the trim cables, but that seems excessive, in comparison to other servic.5manuals that I own. Accordingly, I set he tirm cable tension at 30 lbs.
