I final prepared the wingtips and nosebowl for installation; basically, wet sanding and priming, microballoons when necessary for larger defects and two-part glazing putty for the smaller ones, repeated several times until there wasn't hardly any flaws to be found. I'm leaving the pieces in white primer, as I'm going to have the aircraft professionally painted, after I've flown off the FAA mandated solo hours.
