I got to thinking that I might not be able to rotate the 90 deg elbow on the fuel vent lines with the skins riveted in place. It turns out there is enough room to install the main fuel vent line, but not the aux tank, which sits higher in the bay. That necessitated a redesign of the aux fuel vent line. The new version fits better, and is easier to make, and provides the necessary elevation so as avoid draining fuel in the tail low position. I liked the new version so much, I went with a similar design on the main fuel tank vent line. In fact, I'm going to remake the right wing in the same fashion. Of course that will require remounting the fuel tanks, which will require putting the wing back up on the rotisserie.
