Plumbed fuel tanks with AN hardware, instead of the brass fittings supplied with the kit. Most builders are taking the fuel from the bottom tanks and sending it to the fuel pump and filter before it goes to the fuel shut-off valve in the cabin. I have elected to take the fuel from the tanks and route it directly to the shut-off valve prior to sending it to the filter and pump. This allows maintenance work on the filter and pump without adding another valve to stop the flow from the tanks. I consulted with Blake at Eagle R & D and Hap Miller for their input; they had no objections to my plan.
